Reds vs Angels 6/25/19
Reds’ future hall-of-Famer Joey Votto hit a home run to start the game off in the top of the 1st. Angels answered back with an inside-the-park homer by La Stella. It was really exciting! In the 2nd inning, Angels’ hitter Rengifo hit a 3 run shot just 15 ft away to my right. I knew I wasn’t going to get the ball so I held my sign up. All was fairly silent for most of the remainder of the game. Great fielding and pitching on both sides of the ball. The Angels got another run in the 7th due to a mental error by the left fielder. The runner on 2nd tagged up to go to 3rd, and just kept running home to score since the LFer apparently forgot how many outs there were.
FInal 5-1 Angels over the Cards
I got to enjoy the game with another world race from 2010! It was really awesome catching up and enjoying each other’s company. Our front row seats in Right Field were awesome. Yet again, front row is the way to go for a more “feeling like you’re really into the game” experience. I even got on the big screen around the 2nd/3rd inning! So cool! I really enjoyed seeing the superstars play such as La Stella, Puig, Trout, Votto, Calhoun, Pujols, and more. I really enjoyed seeing an inside the park home run in person. SO intense! I enjoyed the layout of the stadium, but the fan atmosphere is very relaxed and chill...which isn’t a bad thing.
