Rangers vs Twins 7/5/19
This game wasn’t even close for the Rangers. Twins came out with 6 runs in the 2nd inning, and the 1st home run of the night broke the record for most home runs hit by a team before the all-star break...and the Twins still had 2 more games left. So many runs, doubles, and home runs. If you were a pitcher for either team, it was a fairly tough night except for the starter for the Twins. Twins kept putting up the runs as the game went on even though the Rangers were able to score a decent amount near the end of the game. This was the most home runs in a game I’ve seen so far on this trip with 6 (4 by the Twins and 2 by the Rangers). This was amongst one of the fields and stadiums I do like.
Final was 15-6 Twins dominating the Rangers.
Despite an hour delay of the game due to rain, it gave me time to explore the stadium even more. It was the 1st game that the Twins had since being on the road for a while, so they had their 4th of July celebration fireworks, which were wonderful to enjoy for sure after being on the road for so long. The Twins community relations dept hooked me up with a message on the digital boards about my trip, so that was cool! I enjoyed learning the design and technology advancements that were implemented into the stadium. The game was fun to watch too with so much scoring despite having an hour delay.
